This Privacy Policy describes how Military PT Calculator Pro ("the App"), developed by Layers For Life, handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Collect

a) Data You Enter

The App allows you to enter fitness data (age, physical measurements, exercise repetitions, and run/swim/event times) to calculate your military Physical Fitness Test score. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to any external server by us.

b) Saved Scores

If you choose to save a score, the score, branch, date, and pass/fail result are stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences storage. This data does not leave your device.

c) Health & Fitness Data (Google Health Connect)

The App offers an optional integration with Google Health Connect. If you grant permission, the App may read the following data types from Health Connect:

• Exercise sessions – to identify recent runs or workouts
• Distance – to pre-fill run distances for score calculation

Health Connect data is read solely to assist you in pre-filling your PT test inputs. We do not store, transmit, share, or sell any Health Connect data. Health Connect data is never sent off your device by this App. You can revoke Health Connect permissions at any time in your device's Health Connect settings.

Our use of Health Connect data complies with the Android Health Connect Permissions Policy.

d) Advertising Data (Google AdMob)

The App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, subject to your consent preferences presented at first launch. This may include:

• Advertising ID (resettable device identifier)
• General location (country/region)
• Device information (OS version, screen size)
• Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)

AdMob's data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device's Google settings, or by selecting "Non-personalized Ads" in the consent dialog within the App.

e) App Usage & Crash Data

We do not collect analytics or crash reports beyond what Google Play may collect automatically through the Play Console. We do not use any third-party analytics SDK.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To calculate and display your military PT test scores
• To store your score history locally on your device
• To pre-fill test inputs from Health Connect (only if permission is granted)
• To display advertisements that support the free availability of the App
• To send local reminder notifications for upcoming PT test dates (only if you set a reminder)

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except as described in the Advertising section above (Google AdMob). No fitness, health, or score data you enter is ever shared with any third party.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

All data stored by the App (saved scores, preferences, reminder settings) is stored locally on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in your device's Settings → Apps → Military PT Calculator Pro → Clear Data.

5. Children's Privacy

This App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
